Matt Heintz joined TPG Angelo Gordon in 2022 and is the Head of Insurance in the Client Partnership Group. In this role, Matt leads the expansion of TPG Angelo Gordon’s focus on investment management solutions for the insurance sector. Prior to joining the platform, Matt was most recently Managing Director, Head of North America at J.P. Morgan Global Insurance Solutions, a division of J.P. Morgan Asset Management specializing in managing the assets of insurance companies across the full spectrum of traditional and alternative asset classes. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Partner at Cardinal Investment Advisors, where he was an investment consultant to multiple insurance companies. He started his career at Edward Jones Investments. Mr. Heintz received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
